Fledon

Fledon is a human city nestled between two mountain ranges. The houses are predominantly made of stone, and the city wall is very solidly built.

The city has only two entrances, and is situated in a location where it is virtually impossible to get a large armed force into the city from somewhere else. Both entrances are three-layered, with a large wooden gate with a massive portcullis on both sides of it. The city is built in a layered manner, with the center buildings being higher than the out ones, allowing archers, ballistae, and catapults to fire at invading forces without risk of hitting buildings inside the city.

The main trade of the city is metalwork. The city mines its own iron, and then processes it. The local mages’ guild specialises in enchanting weapons and armour to sell at a higher price than the mundane items. If you need enchanted weapons or armour, this is the best place to find it.
